Active Learning with Gaussian Process Regression for Efficient Human Coding of Political Texts (with Roman Garnett & Jacob Montgomery)

Using Gaussian process regression, we develop an active learning framework to improve the efficiency of human coded political texts. Utilized in tandem with an online workforce, the framework offers a scalable method of supervised data-labelling.
